I AM
I am popular religion, I’ll tell you what to do, discriminate against all those who don’t worship your God too.
I am the police; I’ll tell you what not too, disobey and get shot dead, corruptions nothing new.
I am corporate media, I’ll tell you what to think, glorify our violent lies because it ups our rates.
I am jurisdiction, I’ll dictate whom you hate, it doesn’t matter if he’s innocent, it’s whose lawyer wins the case.
Thought there is endless possibility, your living life with limitations,
When you follow what you’re told and what you see, you’re just like living imitations.
I am modern school districts, I’ll teach you all you need to know, to work your life away beneath the corporate undertow.
I am your television, I’ll show you how to act, programming you like sitcoms, you believe our lies are fact.
I am your doctor, I’ll see you when you’re ill, I’ll prescribe seven different drugs, then send you out the bill.
The truth is we don’t know what we are or where we are going in this bazaar creation,
So they try to comfort us with systems in which we must follow their dictation.
I am the artist and the poet, I’ll tell you to think for yourself because it’s the better way, question your authorities it makes for better change.
I am the activist, I’ll tell you to engage, its time to let them hear our voice, speak aloud with rage.
I am the sculptor, and my word is set in stone, if we don’t divert our path I’ll be sculpting with your bones.
I am the voice of Earth, save me while you can, because the end of me also means the end of man.
